Dear fellow-Ethiopians and friends of Ethiopia,

ACTUALITIES

Hereby I propose the necessity of acknowledging highly need to react to the drought and associated problems of our beloved country Ethiopia. As citizens and friends of Ethiopia we cannot stand passively behind,while others standby to help by all possible means for those in need. Meanwhile the executive committee of the Ethiopian community in the Czech republic decided to prepare mini-symposium as a satellite action prior or parallel to our soon coming general assembly. Every member of the Committee is doing the maximum effort on the preparation as we agreed during our last meeting.

By now we need every body from our community member or others familiar to the field to actively participate on the topic" The Drought Cycle in Ethiopia and Its Backgrounds".

Those who are expert in the fields of Geology, Hydrogeology, Geography, Agronomy, Forestry, Ecology,History,and Sociology are very welcomed to contribute in lecture presentations. If you are ready to contribute by some other ways also please contact any of the executive committee members you reach including myself. The program and place of symposium including exact time harmonogram will be declared soon.

Pass messages to compatriots who you meet to attained the proposed Symposium as soon as you get the definite program.

Please let us make difference, if we are united we are able to do, if we do, there will be a difference.
